This hole in the wall near West Village elevates the humble chicken shop, but isn’t pretentious about it. The Chicken Shop has fast become a neighbourhood gem, dishing up succulent chickens daily, as well as a selection of sandwiches, salads and sides by chef Ben Greeno. Intent on only using the best, we’re home to hormone-free, air-chilled Bannockburn chickens. Add a side of roast veggies, potato gratin and/or some fries and you’re ready to go. It’s a delicious homemade meal with none of the fuss and all of the flavour.
